CHCO Dysphagia / Thickener Research Survey


Study Summary

This study will examine experiences and challenges of families relating to their child’s need for thickener.


Who Can Participate?

  • Parent, guardian, or caregiver with children diagnosed with dysphagia or feeding problems who is visiting Laryngeal Cleft Network’s website.

  • Adult parents, guardians, and caregivers of Children's Hospital Colorado's (CHCO) patients ages 0 months to 18 years of age diagnosed with dysphagia or feeding problems.

  • Parents, guardians, and caregivers with children diagnosed with dysphagia or feeding problems who are being treated at these CHCO clinics: aerodigestive, dysphagia management, pulmonary, and swallow studies. 

  • Parents, guardians, and caregivers who have not already participated in the survey.

  • English or Spanish speaking/literate parents, guardians, or caregivers. 


Study Locations

  • Laryngeal Cleft Network’s website.

  • These CHCO's clinics: aerodigestive, dysphagia management, pulmonary, and swallow studies.
