Conclusion
“This study provides surgical outcomes analysis of a large group of patients with LC repair with associated TEA. Higher-grade clefts were associated with revision. In our study, the presence of TEA/EA did not alter LC repair outcomes, and history of TEA repair was not associated with a higher revision rate vs LC alone. Parents and families can be counseled that their outcomes are similar to LC alone patients.”
