Melanie lives in Chicago with her husband and two children, including her brave daughter who was diagnosed with a laryngeal cleft. 

As a licensed counselor specializing in infant mental health, Melanie has dedicated her career to supporting caregivers and connecting them to early childhood services. She is committed to ensuring families have access to the same valuable resources and support networks that sustain her own. 

When she isn’t working or parenting, Melanie enjoys running, traveling, baking, and exploring Chicago’s vibrant restaurant scene.
