Heather is our Group Facilitator for the Patient Advisory Committee (PAC). Heather has an educational background in child life, as well as a Master of Science in Clinical Counseling. She works as an outpatient mental health therapist both in schools and the clinical setting. As a proud older sibling of a brother with a type 4 cleft, Heather has had a front row seat to the resulting complications and trials, but also the joys. Her brother has been influential in her choice of various vocational roles. Much like in her clinical practice, Heather strives to create an open, welcoming, nonjudgmental and safe space for all PAC members. 

In her spare time, she loves spending time with family and friends, her dog Sammie, gardening, reading, and being outdoors. She is passionate about reaching others and creating support through uncertainties. She encourages all to come as they are. You are welcome here!
