Carolyn Schultz

Carolyn began her journey as a laryngeal cleft advocate when her youngest son was born with a type 3b cleft in 2004. A Montana native, Carolyn graduated with a degree in journalism from the University of Maryland. She has worked as a reporter, editor, marketing and communications director, and dyslexia tutor, as well as a volunteer for a variety of organizations. Her most challenging and meaningful job has been that of a stay-at-home mom to her three children. Carolyn enjoys hiking, cooking, tennis, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
