Caetyn Groner
Caetyn is a mom to two boys, one of whom has a repaired type 1 laryngeal cleft. His complex diagnoses and “constellation of symptoms,” as his providers like to say, has led her to the role God prepared her for: his mom. She also happens to be a pediatric speech-language pathologist!
She graduated from Baylor University with her undergraduate studies in Communication Sciences and Disorders, then completed her master’s degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Professionally, she loves providing care for children with complex speech-sound disorders and feeding disorders. However, she works with all types of speech, language, and feeding disorders. She has worked in acute care, home health, early childhood intervention, and outpatient rehabilitation.
Caetyn enjoys baking, keeping up with her two young children, reading, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She believes communication among providers, patients, and families is key to quality care. She hopes to use her voice as a mom and SLP to help families navigate life with a laryngeal cleft and to access quality care for their children quickly and effectively.
