Ala’a Alsaqri

Ala’a became passionate about laryngeal cleft advocacy online when her son, Sami, was born with a Type 4 laryngeal cleft in 2018. At the time, resources about laryngeal clefts, especially the more severe types, were limited and often outdated. With over 15 years of experience as a data manager in the insurance industry, Ala’a enjoys analyzing trends in data and leveraging those insights to make decisions. Aside from poring over data, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and tatreez (traditional embroidery).
