“Our journey to Boston Children’s Hospital for Ethan’s procedure was a beacon of hope that shed light on years of uncertainty, and we’re thrilled to have finally found answers. He underwent a repeat scope and received a diagnosis of a type 1 laryngeal cleft, a turning point in our quest for clarity. The procedure was a resounding success, thanks to the exceptional expertise and warmth of our healthcare providers. Patient housing was incredibly accommodating, making our experience even more seamless. 

LCN has been an invaluable resource, empowering us with a wealth of information, videos, articles, and a supportive community. This diagnosis may be rare, but we’ve discovered we’re not alone, and that’s a truly uplifting realization – to know there are people who understand, who care, and who are there to offer guidance and encouragement every step of the way. 

We look forward to returning for Ethan's laryngeal cleft repair in the coming months, and are optimistic that this will bring resolution and a brighter future for him.
